WHAT TO DO BEFORE WAXING APPOINTMENT

The hair should be a quarter of an inch (the size of a grain of rice) to ensure the hair is correctly removed from the root.
-

-
Notify The Clinician if you are on any medications or skin products that contain Accutane, Retin A/Retinol or Salicylic Acid.
-
Do not tan/spray tan within 24 hours of waxing service.
-
Avoid alcohol intake.

Exfoliate the skin to remove any dead skin cells.

AFTERCARE WITHIN 24 HOURS
-
Be comfy. Wear loose clothing to prevent friction that can irritate the skin.
-
Avoid heat, sweat and friction after a wax—for example, Baths, hot tubs, saunas, and physical activity. The hair follicles are open, and this can cause bacteria to enter.
-
Do not use products on the skin. Examples are deodorant, perfumes and scented body lotion.
-
Avoid touching the area.
What To Do 24+ Hours After Your Waxing Appointment

-
Moisturize.
-
Do not shave between waxes.
